Apona defines a user as a developer or engineer who needs to perform security-focused code reviews. We do not count lines of code (LOC) or projects. The price will always be the same whether you are scanning millions of lines of code or scanning multiple applications.
Apona defines a module as a set of protocols falling under different categories including: IPv4, IPv6, WiFi, CAN bus and pen testing. If you need to test multiple protocols in a category such as CAN Bus, CAN DBC, KNX, and MODBUS, you will only be charged for the module, not per individual protocol. If you need to test different protocols in other categories such as IPv6, TCPv6, and SDP, you will be charged for those modules.
Deploying Apona products starts with deployment in AWS, GCP, or your privately hosted repositories.You can then integrate our solution into your (CI) pipelines – allowing automated tasks and the ability to scan and fix code early in your SDLC.
Cloud-hosted deployment is our most popular option for efficiency and reduced costs. Customers desiring more control and customization will be happy to know Apona products can also be deployed on-prem and self-hosted on your own private cloud infrastructure without exchanging any data with Apona.
Apona products can be deployed in as little as a few hours, with most deployments taking a few days. While this is the quickest (and most cost-effective, scalable option), many customers prefer self-hosting for greater flexibility and control. This option will take slightly longer to deploy due to specialized needs.
